Who We Are
Studio 9 Dance Academy is a place for dancers to learn, grow, and find a genuine love for dance.
Located in Parker, Colorado, Studio 9 offers high-quality dance training in an environment where students are challenged, encouraged, and known. We believe great dance education is about more than learning steps. It’s about building confidence, developing discipline, forming meaningful relationships, and giving dancers a place where they feel they belong.
Our programs are designed to meet dancers where they are — from a two-year-old taking their very first class to an advanced dancer preparing for what comes next. We offer training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap, hip hop, musical theatre and more, with both recreational and competitive opportunities available.
At Studio 9, we believe strong technical training and a positive studio experience can — and should — exist together. Our faculty brings years of professional, educational, and performance experience to the classroom, while making each dancer’s individual growth a priority.
For dancers looking for an additional level of training and performance, Company 9 provides competitive opportunities through our Select, Newbie, and Ballet Companies. Our company dancers train extensively, attend conventions and competitions, and learn the commitment and responsibility that come with being part of a team.
Studio 9 was founded in 2015 by Heather Elliott and Lesley Henry with a shared vision for the kind of dance studio they wanted to create: one rooted in excellent training, thoughtful leadership, and a genuine investment in the kids who walk through the doors.
More than a decade later, that vision still guides us.
Whether dance is something your child loves for an hour each week or something they hope to pursue for years to come, there is a place for them at Studio 9.

Our Mission
Studio 9 Dance Academy is founded on the characteristics associated with the number 9: artistic genius, inner strength and humanitarianism.
We strive to instill self-confidence, a belief in hard work, and a joy of dance in every one of our dancers. We want to help our students find what is unique and special in them and project that onto the world through dance.
