THE PETITE & MINI COMPANIES
Ages 4-5 & Ages 6-8
THE PETITE & MINI COMPANIES @ Studio 9 are the introduction to competitions, with the foundations of strong technique, building self-confidence and balancing discipline in a fun loving environment.
2023-2024 PETITE & MINI Company Auditions will be held @ Studio 9 Friday May 12th
4:30pm Ages 4-5 / 5:15 Ages 6-7
*Dancers that are 8 yrs old will audition with Select, but could make Mini or Select Company, based on audition results
Auditions will include jazz & ballet combos learned & performed at auditions.
Female dancers will need to wear black leotards, pink tights, and may wear black dance shorts over their leotards. Hair in a bun.
Male dancers may wear white shirt, black dance pants.
THE SELECT COMPANY
Ages 8-18
THE SELECT COMPANY @ Studio 9 is designed for dancers ages 8-18 who are ready to compete and train at a more intense level. The SELECT Company is one pool of dancers, divided into different castings based on ability for various technical styles. Dancers will be accepted into Select Company & cast
into dances based on audition results in both Performance and Technique. New: Part Time Option available for dancers wanting a shorter weekly time commitment. See flyer below for more details.
2023-2024 Company Auditions will be held @ Studio 9 Friday May 12th & Saturday May 13th
5/12: (Ages 8-10) 6:00pm-7:30pm
5/13: (Ages 11-14) 4:00pm-5:30pm
5/13: (Ages 15+) 5:30pm-7:30pm
Auditions will include jazz, hip hop & lyrical/contemporary combos learned & performed at auditions.
*Dancers that are 8 yrs old could make Mini or Select Company, based on audition results
Female dancers will need to wear black leotards, pink tights, and may wear black dance shorts over their leotards. Hair in a bun.
Male dancers may wear white shirt, black dance pants.
THE BALLET COMPANY
Ages 8-18
The BALLET COMPANY @ Studio 9 is for the more dedicated dancers seeking in-depth ballet training in order to prepare them for a comprehensive experience in classical ballet.
2023-2024 Ballet Company Auditions will be held on Friday May 12th 2024
Ages 8-11 - 4:30-5:45
Ages 12+ - 6:00-7:30
Auditions will include barre, center progressions and combinations. Dancers do not need to prepare any audition material.
If dancers are en pointe, they may bring their pointe shoes.
Female dancers will need to wear ballet shoes, black leotards, pink tights, hair in a bun.
Male dancers may wear white shirt, black dance pants.
